Seeing how the original intention of My Time at Sandrock was an expansion for My Time at Portia and not a standalone, people should appreciate the effort that the devs put into appeasing their fans. Since the devs hadn't planned for it, they had to scrap the expansion and start pretty much from the ground up once more to please the fans. Much like Sandrock, it spawned from the community asking for co-op mode in the expansion for My Time at Portia. After all, it wasn't in the original design for Stardew Valley to be co-op. People begged and cried for it and even made a community mod for it until the dev finally gave up and tacked on co-op mode.
